Oh Christmas Trees in Silver and White

I participated recently in a Virtual Christmas Stamping Party hosted by Narelle Fasulo from Australia. We played several games, she demoed making some ornaments and other items, she had a prize patrol and then had four challenges for us to do. One of the challenges was to use this picture as inspiration. I am entering this card in the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.

Christmas Card Challenges

Rustic Hawaiian Christmas Card

I love things that are rustic. I love that old time country look and feel. I made this card to give it a Hawaiian rustic feel and I feel I accomplished it with this card. This card uses a few new items from the Holiday catalog. I am using the new Galvanized CS and Festive Farmhouse elements for the word merry. See how that galvanized sparkles in the cameras view, I love how it pops.

 I also love how the word merry is in a nice shade of grey to blend in with the cards elements.

 This card is just beautiful! What do you think of it?

52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown

This challenge for February is a Technique

I have never did a card like this so I thought this would be a good way of using some scraps. I used Stampin Up's Candy Cane Lane DSP, red foil sheet, Cookie Cutter Christmas for the gingerbread man is in Baked Brown Sugar stamped with the same color. Card base is Very Vanilla and the sentiment is from Candy Cane Christmas and is stamped in Baked Brown Sugar on Very Vanilla.

 

He looks good enough to eat, what do you think?
