Everyone is still into the Red Truck Christmas theme for Christmas and some have started doing an Autumn theme. I even jumped on and check out this Autumn Red Truck for this season. 2018 Holiday (Autumn/Winter) Catalog Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up! and Paper Shares!

Whew, I want to thank all of you who bought the first round. Thank you so much! Since it filled up fast I am offering a Round 2 of paper shares!

You will receive 84 sheets of 6x6 (2 of each design) for $30.00 + 6.50 S/H or binder pages $40.00 + $6.50 S/H.

Paper Shares 2018-2019

What is a paper share?  When you reserve a paper share with me, I will order ALL of the 12x12 and 6x6 packs of designer paper from the new Stampin' UP! catalog and cut them up to 6x6 or 2.5" x 3.5", package and label them and mail each person a sample of ALL of the new sheets!!  This usually costs you about 1/2 the price of buying all the new papers. Then you have a sample of everything and can purchase your favorites from the new catalog!
To buy them all with S/H and tax is usually about $77.00 for the holiday papers!

I offer 2 paper shares, The first is 6x6 papers for those who want to make cards and such and the second is Artist Trading Card/Baseball card size (2.5" x 3.5") and will come in binder pages, these are great for the demonstrator to carry samples to classes, shows or parties for customers to look at.

1.  On September 5th through the 10th, I will take orders for the Holiday papers. After the 10th of September it will be in groups of 5 orders, so get 5 of your friends if you wait until after the 10th to order. I will place the order on the 11th.

2.  Email me at donnaschnees2008@embarqmail.com letting me know you want to reserve your paper share and which one.

3. I will send a paypal invoice and you will have 24 hours to pay.

4.  It should take a week to receive and a week for me to prep depending on the number of orders.

5.  I will send your paper share back to you in the mail and will email a confirmation it is on it's way.

Craft Show Apron

I am getting things ready for a craft fair this fall and I needed an apron that would hold my essentials. I decided the best place to look is pinterest. There was so many to choose from. I found one that I felt would fit my needs. I chose this one from Crafty Staci. I liked that it had many pockets. One pocket is for your cell phone, one for you pen and pad and even a business card pocket. The zippered pocket is for your cash and the other pockets for what ever else you may need. It even has a holder for your keys. She has a free pattern and if you are not a person who likes to sew she even sells them.

My next item was what fabric to use. Since I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I did a search if they had ever had fabric. I found that they did!!

 

I chose Spice Cake. Brown tones are my favorite and I love how these went together.

 

Here is my finished apron. It had been awhile since I last sewed but thought it turned out nicely.

 

unfortunately these are retired and I found them on Ebay mine is made with the spice cake.

Day 3 Happy Birthday!

These next 2 cards are quick and simple.

The first card is a gatefold card. I used So Saffron as the card base and it is 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" and scored at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8." I then added two panels to the front and they measure 4 x 1 7/8." I then added sequins, glued half of the label to one side and added a bow from the embellishment kit. I added a rhinestone to the bow. I then stamped "I love when your birthday comes around" in Early Espresso.

 

The second card is a corner fold card. Linda Bauwin did a video on this, just click her name to go to her YouTube channel. I used Bermuda Bay for the card base with Calypso Coral, So Saffron and Very Vanilla for the card front and then stamped the Carousel horse in Peekaboo Peach added some some sequins and a rhinestone to the top of the pole. Then added a tassel to the corner, next I stamped "Enjoy life and have fun" from the Suite Sentiments stamp set (# 142971) in Early Espresso.

 

 

 

For the inside of the gatefold card, I cut 2 pcs ( 1 at 3 3/4" x 5" Calypso Coral  and 1 at 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" Very Vanilla) of  cardstock of each color for the insert. I stamped the Ferris Wheel in Early Espresso and added a rhinestone in the middle and popped it up with dimensionals. I then stamped 2 Carousel horses, one in Peekaboo Peach and Real Red and I fussy cut them out and popped them up also. Finally on the right panel I stamped " Because spoiling you is so much fun" in Early Espresso.

For the inside of the corner fold card I cut 3 pcs of cardstock ( ( 1 at 5 1/4" x 4" Calypso Coral, 1 at 3 1/4" x 5 of So Saffron and Very Vanilla at 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"). I stamped the Ferris Wheel in Peekaboo Peach, once on the card and then on a scrap of copy paper. I cut out the one on the copy paper to make a mask. I placed it over the Ferris Wheel and then in Real Red stamped the Tents and popped it up with dimensionals. I made the banner from Pear Pizzazz and stamped " To someone who makes others so happy" from the Avant Garden stamp set ( a Sale-A-Bration item).
