12 Days of Christmas Day 10- Santa's Workshop and Memories & More card pack

It's an Elf thing:)

 Jolly Ole Santa Claus is a big Tradition here in the USA. Other countries have other names, St. Nickolas , Old Man Christmas, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle to name a few. 

What do you call him in your country?

Here is a small gift box and bag. Both of them are using some of the items from the Santa's Workshop Memories and More card pack. I filled them with some Hershey kisses and other candies and you could add a gift card. I die cut Santa to add to the front of the box.

Here are two triangle boxes I made with the dsp using the Elizabeth craft designs die. 

These will hold a lollipop or some Hershey kisses. To keep the boxes closed you could use a rubber band or some twine. These boxes assembled are 3.3 x 2 inches. 

I die cut some images and added them to the candy striped box.

 I made this bag with one sheet of 12x12 dsp. I added some grommets from We R Memory Keepers to the bag. I think the red I found worked well with it.

 I then added some poppy parade ribbon to the bag to finish it. It is so stinking cute!

 Finally I made some cards from the Santa's Workshop Memories and More card pack. 

These cards come in two sizes. Did you notice my pencils and erasers? I found them at the Dollar Tree. They are Elf on a Shelf items and only for a $1.00!

12 Days of Christmas Day 9- Gift Bags

Handmade gift bags are better than a store bought. They are unique one of a kind. I think everyone at Christmas time recycle their bags and gift paper. It is always fun to see it gifted again another year.
The large bags I bought at the Dollar General and they were 10 bags for $3.00. I added bows to the handles, a strip of cardstock across the front (5 1/2 inches x 2 3/4) and some dsp. I then added stamped images from Dashing Deer and die cut the deer in silver foil. The second bag I use the sprig punch for the holly and a regular hole punch for the berries. The "merry" is from the now no longer available Festive Farmhouse elements. I die cut the "Christmas" again in silver foil. The smaller two bags are made with one sheet of cardstock. I will post directions for them as soon as I can. With the approaching holidays I will be quite busy, but will post when I can.

12 Days of Christmas Day 7-Christmas Watering Can

I was at Dollar General and they happen to have items on sale for 90% off. I found this watering can. It had spring flowers in and I decided to change it to a Christmas theme. I found the picks at Dollar Tree and bought three of them. I then added some Early Espresso tulle (retired) and the 5/8" Striped Burlap trim. I would not have thought the blue (almost a balmy blue color)would go well with it but I feel it is fabulous!

A teenager's Sitka Spruce tree has been chosen to be planted outside the White House as the new national Christmas Tree, he and his father drive cross country to get it there and the story goes viral, meanwhile the company who started the contest has other plans in mind.

12 Days of Christmas Day 6-Charger Plate

Need a Christmas gift idea? Why not decorate a charger plate, it would make a great inexpensive gift (got mine from dollar tree.) I got the truck from Big Lots in the ornament section and adhered it with hot glue. The circle of dsp is an 8 inch circle (festive farmhouse) and fits the plate perfectly. I used the Scan-N-Cut CM350 to cut the circle from dsp. I then cut out "Merry Christmas" using the Merry Christmas thinlits dies from the Joyous Noel glimmer paper. I had some leftover embellishments from Quilted Christmas to put on each side of the plate. I finally added a Striped burlap bow and used some green sprigs from last year to add to the bow and finished it off with a galvanized button.
