12 Days of Christmas Day 11- Treat Containers

Everyone loves to get a little sweets in their Christmas Stocking or receive a pretty packaged item.
Here are a few items I made for a Craft Fair coming up on November 25th in Richwood, Ohio called Sleigh Bells Ring Craft Fair.
Here is a triangle box that I found at Elizabeth's Crafts and the pizza box is Stampin' Up!. The pizza box can also hold a gift card, the triangle box holds some candy or cash. The pillow box can hold a few treats and some cold cash:) The diaper fold technique can hold a girdellia chocolate or cut a small hole and it will hold a lollipop!

These here are Hershey nuggets, slide in a 2 x 6 or 2 x 8 bag add some twine to tie it off. Stamp on some cardstock and make a snowman! Super simple and quick gift. To cover each piece you need a 1 x 3 piece of dsp or cardstock, wrap around and use a glue dot.

Test Tube treats are all the rage in our area right now. Slide in some six-lets and wrap with some twine. The treat tube holder is a die I found at Taylored Expressions and the even have test tubes to fit the die. The test tubes I am using are a past Stampin' Up! item.

Here is a hot chocolate holder. It has two pockets I added to hold the hot chocolate, a mini bag of marshmallows, a candy spoon and some chocolate nuggets. This was a box I punched out with the box punch board. I cut off the top flaps and the flaps that fold in I punched a hole and thread some ribbon through to create the box.

Here is a rice krispie holder for the mini rice krispies. I used the tag topper to create the ends. Added a belly band and decorated it with the Santa cut from the dsp.

Here is a box made with two sheets of 12 x 12 DSP. I wrapped it up with some Merry Merlot-Copper ribbon and added a wire snowflake. It is so pretty! The small box is made with the punch board just like the large box. This one will have peppermint bark candy which I have to finish making.

At a big city Catholic school, Father O'Malley and Sister Benedict do not see eye to eye, but through faith the school gets a gift of a new building.

I would love to hear your comments and do not forget about the hostess code for a free gift during this months campaign. If order exceeds $150.00 do not use hostess codes so you can get the extra hostess rewards and you will get the free item automatically.

Craft Fair

Our latest craft fair is successful! We made a little over $100.00 minus our fees for this fair and the next fair. We are very pleased! My hubby felt I needed a bigger table so he went an bought be an 8 footer. My step-daughter, Tracy, and I enjoy doing these events together. These events give us the time to be together and we enjoy every minute of it. Tracy has a FB page called
Stop by and say hello, we would love to hear from you.
This event was held at the Christian Academy in Marysville, OH. We were next to a woman who sold Scentsy, her name is Rebecca. I, Tracy and Rebecca chatted throughout the day and we exchanged business cards. I told her I do home parties, online if requested and as well as class in the mail. Later on I had went to the ladies rooms and when I came back she commented on the cards I had made and she said "I use to make cards but it is hard with running a business. Since you do home parties maybe I can do one and sell scentsy at the same time."  Of course I said "Sure, why not". She said she would be in contact. Never know maybe I would do the same, run a second business along with Stampin' Up!?? Interesting notion...
Our next craft fair is at:

Marion Technical College
1467 Mount Vernon Ave.
Marion, OH 43302
December 2nd, 2017
10 am to 2 pm
If your in the Ohio area stop by and say hello

Here is a few photos of this past event.

First Craft Fair is a SUCCESS!!

My step-daughter and I attended our first craft fair. It was hot 87 degrees, luckily we breezes on and off through out the day. This being our first craft fair, we were not sure if things would sell. Where we were located was at a library off the beaten path of the main street. We thought for sure this was not going to be good. We actually made money, we were surprised at how many people did find the area. Here are some pictures of our items:

We met a lot of nice people and a woman who had done craft shows for years and had retired so she could become the shopper :) gave us advice and pointers. All help is appreciated.
