Each month we will announce a new Monthly Challenge. The challenges are designed to inspire you to stretch your creative wings. Have fun with it! You will have the entire month to create a project for the challenge. The project must meet the challenge requirements in order for your name to be entered into the prize drawing.

APRIL MONTHLY CHALLENGE: Center of Attention Challenge!

Every good tablescape, whether it’s on a dining table, coffee table, side table, desk or elsewhere, can benefit from a beautiful centerpiece. Have you tried creating one with your Cricut machines? For the April Monthly Challenge that is exactly what we would like you to try! Create any type of centerpiece using your Cricut machines. We can’t wait to see what you make!
The WINNER of this challenge will receive a $150 Credit to Cricut.com!

The Challenge: Create a centerpiece using your Cricut machines.

Note: We want to be sure that everyone knows that you DO NOT need to have a blog to participate in the challenges here on the Cricut Circle blog. When the InLinkz tool at the bottom of the Challenge Post asks you for the URL of your blog, you can also type in the URL of a gallery you have uploaded your project to, a direct URL to the image (Photobucket, TinyPic, etc.) or even a message board entry where you have inserted your photo. If you receive an error while submitting your entry, look at the top of the screen and there will be three tabs to choose from. One of them will give you the option to upload your image directly from your computer. We are really enjoying your submissions! Keep them coming!

Christmas Secret Santa Matchbox swap

I had alot of fun with this one. I love to alter items and I am starting to get hooked on altering matchboxes.
For this swap we were to alter a matchbox, make two flowers, a chunky charm with at least 8 items on it, 3 stick pins and a gift for around $10.00.  My partner is Hanaclimie from Canada and this is what I sent to her. I was a bit worried she would not get it in time. I received notice that she did and she loved it all!
Thank you luvskrappin for hosting and I will be watching for next years event!

Got this idea from a Jo-Ann how to freebie from 2009. I happend to come across cleaning out a box of scrapbook items.

I had already been in a stick pin swap and they have become addicting as well.
