Stamp ink Paper Challenge #60
Stamp with Amy K posted a card she created for this challenge and it is simply gorgeous!!!
And... it is from the new Stampin Up' Holiday Catalog:)
Now on with the challenge!
The challenge is to create a card using these colors. The colors did not have to be exact because they want everyone to have a chance to join in. Since I have Stampin Up' products I chose to go with:
Elegant Eggplant
Lovely Lilac
Brushed Silver
Here is my card, I used the new Jar of Love on page 75 of the annual catalog for my card.
I stamped the jar on acetate in white stazon ink (stazon is a permanent ink for plastic), the jar lid in the Brushed Silver card stock and stamped in Memento black the lid, I then stamped the water for the jar in Marina Mist, the gold fish in Summer Sun (retired). I then stamped the lighting bugs aka fireflies in Memento Black and then with Cucumber Crush I colored in their "lights". I then cut three circles to add behind them in Cucumber Crush and added a Wink of Stella to them so they would "light" up. I then stamped Hello Friend in the corner in memento black. I used the matching framelits dies to cut out the jar, lid, water, fish and fireflies.
I hope you enjoyed this card. (sorry if the pic is a little fuzzy)

Lovely as a Tree
This is the popular stamp set from Stampin' Up. I watched a video from Stamp and Scrap with Frenchie. She showed how to make a beautiful sunrise. Here is my version of it:
I used So Saffron as the card base, the mat is Pink Pirouette. Whisper white card stock for the stamping of the trees. I used gold embossing powder for the tree bases and the trees themselves are embossed with Fall Splendor. Sorry my pics are dark but in person it is really pretty. The background is what Fenchie showed how to create. The ink I used is So Saffron, Pink Pirouette and Pistachio Pudding. Black memento ink for the Thinking of You (Sincere Salutations stamp set, retired 2005) and a piece of pink ribbon across the top.

April Team share
Michelle Zindorf really put a challenge on us for this month. She sent us two items to make our card for the team share. It consisted of a piece of ribbon-Mint Macron and a stamped image form Beautiful Ride.
So after much searching the internet, I came up with a couple of ideas. The first one was to do a snowy mountain scene and the second was to try to create northern lights. After watching several videos and tutorials, I decided on challenging myself even further. I chose to do the Northern Lights. Hope you like it!
The stamps sets I used are Gorgeous Grunge and Lovely as a Tree. The ink colors for the Northern Lights are: Rich Razzelberry, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise and Night of Navy. The road is Smokey Slate with the Gorgeous Grunge stamped three times in Basic Black. The Trees are stamped in Stazon Black and finally I used the blender pen to color in the car. Basic Black for the wheels and some bling added, windows in Sahara Sand, car in Hello Honey, Delightful Dijon and Daffodil Delight and pop dotted up. I used the ribbon- Mint Macron in the corners, the card is Blackberry Bliss.

A great Christmas!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Our family had a good one unfortunately my mother-in-law's eldest dog "Maggie" did not make it to see Christmas. Our vet did his best to try and get her to make it through the holiday but told us he did not think she would make it. So, Christmas day was not the best for her.
This is why my Christmas post is late this year. Again I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

Happy Halloween!!!
Tonight is the night when things will go bump in the night.
Witches will be casting their spells, black cats will be on the prowl and if a full moon is in view...werewolves will be coming out to play.
Some people consider this night evil, I on the other hand call this night the night to show the devil and his ghoulish ghouls that I am not afraid of him and his henchmen.
In other countries it is the time of the year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed believers.
This time of the year we do "trick-or-treat." Many will have costume parties, playing games such as; ghost in the graveyard, bobbing for apples, playing pranks, decorating and carving pumpkins or well known as "Jack-o'-lanterns", eating candy apples, popcorn balls and having a cup of hot chocolate or hot apple cider. There will be corn mazes and hay rides through a dark and spooky forest.
So be safe tonight and when you go to bed...keep a light on, know one knows what monster lurks near by:)

Cookouts, family and fireworks
I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday. We enjoyed a great evening at my parents house for the annual 4th of July fish fry. My dad and his Uncle Ron fried up about 40-50 pounds of fish that they had been catching. My one cousins family has been coming to our fish fry from Michigan, we enjoy their company and God be willing they will be back next year. There was over 30 to 40 family members and some came we had not seen for several years. It was great to see everyone having a great time. God Bless the USA for a wonderful day!

I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator
Hello everyone,
Hope those of you who are In the deep freeze are doing your best to keep warm. We have finally gotten above 20 degrees here in Ohio. Unfortunately to go back soon into the deep freeze again:(
In the meantime, those of you who know I have been going back to school, so far is going well except for one class.
Since going back to school, I decided to be a Stampin' Up demonstrator to try to earn items for my passion of crafting. I hope you will stop by and check it out. This is more for those who can not get to a class or workshop. I hope to have my first one posted soon. If you place an online order of $50.00 or more I will send you a pdf of the item I have created and posted on the site, an order of 100.00 or more, I will send you a catalog in the mail and a printed tutorial of the item from the site. As thing progress and my cliental grows, I hope to be able to give back more to my buyers.
Thanks and hope to see you there:)
