Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope this day was a splendid day!

I and the hubby are having hot dogs and mac-n-cheese along with some homemade cherry chip cupcakes with cherry icing and sprinkles to celebrate our day of LOVE!!

It is a bit cold here so to try and warm things up I created this months Truck of Love for Valentines Day!

I used Basic Gray for the truck, along with wood grain dsp and the Meant to Be stamp set.

This truck even uses some of the Lovely Lipstick foil sheet that is a free sale-a-bration item. You can get it free for spending $50.00.

Here is a close-up of all the hearts in the back of the truck. One heart is made from the lovely lipstick foil sheet, another is created using the wax paper technique with an embossing folder, I created another heart with the Buffalo Check stamp.

Valentines for those special little one's in your life

If your family is like mine, you may have lots of nieces, nephews and cousins. What do you get them all for Valentines? 

Paper Pumpkin has this cute Valentine set for those little ones. 

This Paper Pumpkin kit is perfect for my family because it is just enough to make for them and also enough to take the left overs to create matching cards to go along with the pillow treat boxes. 

 It is so simple to create a card from the leftover pieces. 

For the card I cut off the tabbed section of the pillow box and adhered to the card front along with those adorable animals. I then added the hearts that are enclosed in the kit and then stamped the sentiment on the bottom. You could leave one end of the pillow box open to insert a gift card or lollipop.

 I then made the pillow box and filled it with some Hershey kisses.

Those lizards are cute!

This kit makes 24 pillow boxes and comes with everything you need. And if you do not use them all, just do like I did, make some cards or save them for next year.

Floral Romance with Tuesday Morning Sketches

As I read my email each morning, I came across a sketch and just had to create a card with it. Mary from Stamps-n-Lingers had showed an amazing card she created for

 Tuesday Morning Sketches. 

This sketch was just screaming for me to use the 

Wonderful Romance and the Floral Romance Specialty DSP. 

I tried to used one of each of the papers to create this card. I added some of the new Grapefruit Grove Foil (which is almost sold out, free sale-a-bration item.) punched out with the Starburst punch along with a pearlized doily. The card base is Petal Pink, with layers of 

Granny Apple Green and Highland Heather. I added some Flirty Flamingo ribbon and fussy cut the flower from the DSP to finish the card front. 

Here is the sketch we needed to use.

I finally added a piece of whisper white to the inside and stamped the sentiment "Think of You" along with some of the leaves in the bottom right corner in Mossy Meadow.
