May 2020 Paper Pumpkin Designed with (In) Color in Mind The Paper Pumpkin team loves planning f...
This new dsp is amazing! I love how it all blends together and the Tropical Chic looks awesome with it! I added some wink of stella to the hibiscus flowers. Look at that shimmer with all the glimmer. The holiday catalog goes live on September 5th. If you need a catalog send me your address and I will send one out to you. Email me at donnaschnees2008@embarqmail.com.
I stamped the sentiment from the Farmhouse Christmas and cut it out with a stitched circle framelit.
Here is a closeup of the flowers using the wink of stella.
Today's prize is Quilted Christmas Stamp set, framelits and accessories

Sneak peek of some new and upcoming Holiday Catalog items!
Tropical Chic goes well with the new Holiday Joyous Noel DSP. This dsp has leaf palms on it and looks great with the Tropical Chic die I used.
Today's prize is a paper pumpkin called Adorning Arrows from 2017

Ornament #3
This ornament is a past favorite. It was featured on the front of the 2012 Holiday catalog.
Even though this set is retired, I still love to make these ornaments for the holidays.
The picture does not do this ornament justice, it is much prettier than it looks.
I used Granny Apple Green and Gray Granite for the 3-D ornaments. Added some white sparkle tulle and then the Gray Granite ribbon. The center is just 3 palm leaves and a hibiscus flower with a glitter enamel dot. I used the crop a dile to punch the hole to add a gold cord for the hanger.
The back side I used the pearlized doilies.
I made a box following Frenchie's Stamps video. I lined the inside of the box with dsp from the Tropical Chic.
Finally I made a gift tag to go with it. Doesn't it look gorgoues in the box?
Here is a close up of the tag.
Do you have a favorite ornament that you put on your tree or do you make an ornament? In my family I and my two brothers each year make an ornament for our mother. Her tree is filled with a lot of memories of us kids. Please put your response in the comments to win today's prize is the Basket Weave embossing folder.
