Quilted Christmas has become one of my favorites. I can remember growing up as a kid going to my grandmothers and her sister teaching me how to quilt. My very first quilt I got when I was born, was from my great grandmother. The unique thing about the quilt was she was blind. She could not see colors all she could see was black and white images out of the corners of her eyes. She learned by the shades of the black and whites she saw what colors they were to be. She hand stitched my quilt and I have it still today and I am almost 50. When I saw this stamp and die set it automatically brought back all those fond memories. Oh to be a kid again:)
But what to make with it. So I started going through my stash that I have had over the years and I came across some collegiate scrapbook paper and got an aha! I made two of these like the collage samplers I have seen on pinterest.
I made one OSU and the other Michigan.
Here are close up's of each one.
I posted a pic on Facebook of the OSU one and it sold in 30
minutes. Tomorrow I will be posting the Michigan one. Will see how it goes. Do you see where I used the Dies?
So tell me which one is your favorite? I would love to see your comments:)
