Stampin' Up! has turned 30, I and my husband have been together for 30 years on August 30th. So I am celebrating with all of you with a 30 day Luau. Get your sun tanning lotion, shades and your favorite drink and play along each day for some great prizes.
For the next 30 days I will be showcasing projects using the Tropical Escape Suite along with other products from the catalog. I hope to create a creative spark in you. Each day there will be a question, game or challenge and you will post the answer in the comments section. For the candle wraps I made one to fit around a candle and the other I made square using Basic Black cardstock. The candles look nice in these. I used the square palms die to cut out the sections.

Day 1
Candle wraps and Tiki's
I found an image on the internet and sized it to fit a toilet paper roll. I used Baked Brown Sugar cardstock and printed the image onto it. Two of these will fit on a sheet. One of them I used the hardwood stamp to give it more of a carved feel to it. I then wrapped it around the roll. There will be some overhang. I cut slits on the top and bottom and then glued them down inside the roll.
