Today I paired the Floral Romance with the sale-a-bration item Lasting Lily. With Easter not to far away, I felt this would make a lovely card. It could be used for just saying "Thank You" or just to brighten someones day. I did not want a sentiment because I wanted it to be universal. I keep a stash of cards like this for just in case I need something quick.
Granny Apple Green card base: 81/2 x 5 /12 scored at 4 1/4 Crumb Cake: 5 x 3 3/4
Floral Romance DSP: 1 piece 4 3/4 x 2 1/2, 1 piece 3 3/4 x 2 1/2 and 1 piece 3 3/4 x 1.
Scrap piece of whisper white for lily and stem
Stamp large lily in grapefruit grove and then stamp stem in mossy meadow. Fussy cut it out. Add the large dsp to the left side of the crumb cake, add the next largest dsp to the right, slightly offset it off the other dsp. Now add the small strip across the bottom. Now add the metallic edge ribbon around the whole card crossing the narrow strip. Now add the layer to the card base. Using dimensionals, add them to the flower and add to the left side. Tie a bow out of the granny apple green and adhere it with glue dots. Add three pearls to center of flower and two more in the bottom right corner of the crumb cake. Finally add three sequins to the dsp on the right side.

ReplyDeleteDonna,
ReplyDeleteI love how you pieced the Floral Romance DSP background for the Lily. This does make a great universal card. Thanks for playing along at WWYS!
