Breast Cancer Awareness Month and FREE PDF

Image result for breast cancer images

I am sure you know of someone who has been affected by this disease. Maybe a friend, a loved one or yourself. Do you get your yearly check ups? I hope you do. I do because breast cancer is hereditary on both sides of my family. My mother had breast cancer in 1989. I had just got hired on at MEI and then to find out my mother has breast cancer and if she did nothing she would only have 6 months. I am so grateful she had the surgery, she is now 28 years cancer free. A few years later after my mother had her surgery we got the news that my fathers mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Hers was not as aggressive but she chose to still have it removed, and she also is cancer free to this day. It is funny how you look at life when things like this happen. You make changes and be more proactive to make sure your family is kept safe. So please!!!! if you have not had a mammogram in a while, call and make an appointment, we are only here on this earth for a short while.

So in an effort to be pro active I have created a PDF and card kit and you can get the PDF FREE by placing an order starting October 11 through October 31st.

Hope Card

Where I work we have a young lady that has cancer and it is aggressive. She has gone through much. I and the woman I work with wanted to do something special for her, so I made the card and she bought a small basket with a yellow rose and some greenry and gave it to her. She is fighting all she can. She said to us " I have cancer but it does not feel like it is there." She is putting up a brave battle, I pray she will win. She comes to work everyday with a positve attitude and a smile on her face.

Even though she is going through this, she does sometimes feel like she is not whole, I thought this quote might help her that even though she is going through a lot she is still beautiful no matter what.
She thanked us, she needed that. She made us cry.

Pink Journey Christmas ornament

Thanks to Christmas with the Cricut for this inspiration. They used vinyl on their ornaments. I am using a double sided sticky adhesive.

This is an ornament I made with the Pink Journey cart for my mother. She is a breast cancer survivor. What I used to create the ornament:
Future floor wax
Coral Crystals glitter from Stampin up
Wonderfilm from PKGlitz
clear ornament from Joann's
White flocking from Stampendous

First I poured in a little bit of future floor wax and rolled it around inside the bulb. I then poured out the excess. Used about three small scoops of the glitter to pour inside the ornament. Used a paper funnel to put it in (so I would not spill the glitter). Rolled the glitter around and lightly tapped out any excess glitter. Next I cut out the two ribbon images from the wonderfilm ( sorry do not remember what size). Applied the images to the front and back. Then I removed the cover off the first ribbon and applied flocking to it. Repeated for other side. I made several others using the A Child's Year cart and gave them to the girls I work with as Christmas gifts.

Pink Journey Christmas paint can

This paint can I made for my mother. She is a breast cancer srurvivor. I used the Pink Journey cart for the ribbons, the Christmas cart for the angels and design studio to weld the ribbon into the angels and snowflakes. The Merry Christmas is from Joys of the Season cart. I do not remember what breast cancer paper pack I used for the can.
