View of Niagra Falls from the Canada side

Before we headed for home from Alliston, Ontario. We stopped and spent the night at Niagra Falls. This was really beautiful. I did not know that Niagra was actually two falls, The American and The Horseshoe. At night the falls are lit up and are just as beautiful. TFL and THANK YOU CANADIANS! For a wonderful time in your country:)

This weekend is National Scrapbooking Day!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!
You didn’t think we’d let a scrapper’s holiday pass us by without having a GIVEAWAY did you?! Let’s give away a Cricut Expression Electronic Cutting Machine! Woot! Woot!

As papercrafters we LOVE our craft spaces! It’s a place we go to experiment, create, ponder, relax, putter, and more! Not only do we love our own “happy spots,” but we love seeing where others create.
And now we want to see where YOU create! And we want to see YOU in it! Take a quick snapshot of youurself crafting in your scrap space . . . it doesn’t matter if you scrapbook on the floor, at the dining room table, or in a scrapbook room . . . we want to see! Upload your picture along with your FULL NAME using the InLinkz Tool at the bottom of this post. You will have all next week to upload your picture. The GIVEAWAY will close at Midnight on Friday, May 11th, 2012. We will announce the randomly selected winner here on the Cricut Blog the following week.
Happy National Scrapbooking Day from your Friends at Cricut!

This is a picture of me in my scraproom. I took it my self. You can see I have been busy this past week. I needed this picture for the contest. Wish me luck and good luck to the other ladies. Sorry for the mess LOL:)

Dress Form Mannequin pin cushion

I saw this on DIY-DISH and just fell in love with it. I plan on making some more for family and friends that sew this year as Christmas gifts. This was the first one I made. I used some paisly fabric, green crossgrain ribbon, added a black pearl in the center, some green beads for a neclace and a flower. As soon as I find candlestick holders I will be adding them. Click on the DIY-DISH above and check out these two twin sisters video.
After I made this one I thought of Sarah Hamer aka Pink Cricut. I beleive she would love to have one for her craft room:) See the pink purse ( not the best pic), I transformed in into this pin cushion. I bought 4 of them at target for $1.00. It took three to make it. I tore them apart for this and used one of the handles for the belt, then added some bling and feathers, now to find the perfect candlestick for this and all will be complete.

Do you like how the dress forms GLIMMER. I found out my Nikon D60 has a filter feature. I chose the cross function and this is what it does. It makes your pics POP!

TFL~

I bought the pink end caps to put on my Imagine. Since my Cricut is pink, along with most of my craft tools, I felt it was only fiting for my I to be pink also.

My New Craft Toys!

I recently got me a Gypsy and an Imagine. I am slowly learning what I can about them. So far I do love the Imagine. Just got to get my designing down, so hopefully the CCR and my gypsy will help with that, once I get them learned!

I bought the Cherry blossom cover for the gypsy to keep it from getting scratched.

My first test print and cut
This is from the Imagine More cart. I printed this on a generic sticker paper. Not sure where I bought it from.
