Swap on Cricut MB

Scrappinmomma and I were partners in a swap. We were to make at least 5 items. Here is what we created for each other. Altered box.

Another altered box that I filled with some Imagine cutouts

Alterd pink mask. My partner loves pink!

Really cute photo box she made me.

An altered paperbag album. I have wanted to try one of these. She did an amazing job on it.

A really cool small altered paint can, love the retro look she used. I feel like driving down route 66.

A matching 6x6 album she made for me to put my own spin on route 66!

Back of altered journal I made for her.

Front of altered journal

Front of paperbag album

Check out the wire friend she created on the page and the flowers on opposing page!

I had wandered what a Junk Journal was and now I now. She did this with a steampunk feel. She used papers with gears and such on them:)

Inside of one of the pages

Altered journal

I made this altered journal a while back. I had forgotten about it and just happened to find this pic.

I used my Imagine and Lori's Garden for this. The butterfly is from a swap item I had received and the pearls are from ? I will have to look that one up.

Blog Design Celebration

I have had a facelift to my blog. I was not satisfied as to how my blog looked. I just did not feel it was me. So for the past several years I have looked at blogs, blog designers and free blog items.

Here is what my blog first looked like.

I like Native American things but this still is not me. So after a long search of blogs, freebies and blog designers, I decided to have my blog desgigned. I looked into several and their pricing. After I figured on the price I was able to spend I then had to decide who would design my blog.

I chose THE CUTEST BLOG ON THE BLOCK. I looked at the blogs they have designed for and liked them. I chose to go with the OHH-LA-LA package. So I filled out the form, uploaded some pics that I wanted to see on my blog and chose a few other things.

After a few days I was contacted by Jenn.

She was the lucky one to design my blog. I am glad she did, she designed the blog to fit me and I LOVE IT. Thank you Jenn and TCBOTB team.

So in celebration of my new blog design, I am giving away 7 Gypsy sleeve starter kits. Yes, I said 7.
All you have to do is leave a comment on my blog and which one you would like to receive and a second choice, and I will have random.org pick the winners.

Gypsy sleeve starter kits to choose from:
Gold/Black
Red Owls
Black and white Damask
Green and blue Damask
Black owls
Gypsy Green
Gypsy Black

Each kit has the sleeve, styles, lanyard, and screen protector.
This will end 6-17 at midnight.

Craft-e-Corner is giving away $50 mystery box of craft goodies. Go to their site and follow the directions and you to can have a chance to win!

Come and check out Michele Kovacks blog she is having an awesome blog candy giveaway! Tell her I sent you:) Click on her badge above.

View of Niagra Falls from the Canada side

Before we headed for home from Alliston, Ontario. We stopped and spent the night at Niagra Falls. This was really beautiful. I did not know that Niagra was actually two falls, The American and The Horseshoe. At night the falls are lit up and are just as beautiful. TFL and THANK YOU CANADIANS! For a wonderful time in your country:)

Dress Form Mannequin pin cushion

I saw this on DIY-DISH and just fell in love with it. I plan on making some more for family and friends that sew this year as Christmas gifts. This was the first one I made. I used some paisly fabric, green crossgrain ribbon, added a black pearl in the center, some green beads for a neclace and a flower. As soon as I find candlestick holders I will be adding them. Click on the DIY-DISH above and check out these two twin sisters video.

After I made this one I thought of Sarah Hamer aka Pink Cricut. I beleive she would love to have one for her craft room:) See the pink purse ( not the best pic), I transformed in into this pin cushion. I bought 4 of them at target for $1.00. It took three to make it. I tore them apart for this and used one of the handles for the belt, then added some bling and feathers, now to find the perfect candlestick for this and all will be complete.

Do you like how the dress forms GLIMMER. I found out my Nikon D60 has a filter feature. I chose the cross function and this is what it does. It makes your pics POP!
